Be Happy Now and Attract Wealth

By Nancy Wylde

How often have you heard people say: “when I get that car, I’ll be happy,” “when I get my dream house, then I’ll be happy,” “when we get through this tough time, I’ll be happy,” “when I win the lottery, I’ll be happy,” or “when I get the man of my dreams, then I’ll be happy.”

It seems that we put off being happy until we have achieved or arrived at a particular place.

I have some interesting news for you about attracting wealth!

If you want to attract money into your lives – BE HAPPY RIGHT NOW!

Think about it…What do you want the money for anyway? Sure, you want to buy a nicer home, more clothes, take holidays, get a new car, have a nicer lifestyle, buy more stuff, but ultimately what will the money do for you?

Don’t you want the money so it ultimately makes you happier? After all isn’t getting all of the above-mentioned aimed at making you happier?

So then, the purpose of attracting more money into your life is really so that you can be happier right?

The Law of Attraction does not work in this way. You need to change your mind and decide to be happy in this moment, right now. In being happy now, you change your energy, your feelings and being to change your vibrations.

Remember, the Universe responds to the feelings, the energy, the vibrations that you omit. So if you are happy right now in this moment, at this minute, then you will attract what you desire. Read more »

4 Secrets to Elevating a Sour Mood

By Brian Hanrahan

1. Tell a joke.

Laughter increases the release of endorphins, compounds that give you a sense of well-being. Without a doubt, joyful people live longer and healthier lives. So watch your favorite comedy, rent a new movie, practice a new joke and laugh it up!

2. Weight train.

You don’t need pills to flood your body with rejuvenating biochemicals. Research has found that doing squats and leg presses (weight training) will greatly increase your natural production of “mood hormones”. Increased mood translates to an elevated sense of direction, among other physical benefits. Keep it up with weight training. And when you don’t feel like going to the gym, that’s when you need to the most. Get in there!

The Illusive Joy of Happiness

by Steve Wickham

“Gratification and satisfaction don’t last, unlike fulfilment–being of value to others in ways that you love. Therein lies happiness” -David Deane-Spread.

When I read a quote like the one above I get the instant feel of truth–it resonates. We all know that no matter how hard we try, continued happiness eludes us. When we’re truly happy, the thing that spoils our happiness–in that moment–is we dwell on the transience of the fact; sooner or later we’ll re-enter drudgery.

Fulfilment, on the other hand, is a little devoid of the constraints of the world. We can get a broader sense of happiness with fulfilment.

And the Deane-Spread quote outlines a conditional statement based on two criteria. “Being of value to others in ways that you love…”

Firstly, we have to realise that a deeper and more lasting version of happiness called fulfilment is available in being of value to others. We are so apt at doing the opposite to realise our happiness and we’re confounded every time. Selfishness gets us to torment, not happiness. Read more »

How to Experience More Pleasure in Your Life

By Sally Reed

It’s your life. You might as well enjoy it, right? We all have one thing in common–we want to be happy. We want to experience more pleasure while we’re here. Fortunately, we can do just that. Here are three recommendations that will open the door to a happier, more pleasurable life.

First, be true to yourself. You have certain gifts. You have specific talents. While we all share a great deal in common with one another, we all have attributes that set us apart from the crowd. When we’re being true to these unique aspects of our person and are allowing those gifts to shine, we’re happier. Take a long look at what makes you special. Isolate your talents and skills. Figure out what gives people a good look at the real you. Then, make a point of utilizing those gifts and of living a way that emphasizes your particular “specialties”. You’ll start to feel happier instantly.

Second, get a solid grip on your professional life. Troubles at work and unhappy professional lives have a remarkable ability to make us unhappy in virtually any setting. When work is a disaster, it’s hard to be happy at home. Implement efficient systems at work. Surround yourself with the right people. Take necessary action. And always remember that we define our work. It does not define us. Read more »
